Beth Lobasov

Tribe Miriam      (Kindergarten)

Beth Lobasov has been a part of the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood since she joined the preschool at the age of three. She then became a Y camper at the age of five, so camp holds a very special place in her heart. She has a Bachelor's from Hunter College in English and is working towards a Master's in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education at Hunter as well. Beth's previous work experience includes being a Head Teacher of a 2s classroom and Assistant Teacher for preschool and kindergarten. This is Beth's third year as the Kindergarten Tribe Leader and she is thrilled to be back! She loves witnessing how much her campers will grow over the summer, learning new skills and being able to do things they didn't think they could do. She looks forward to being a part of that and giving them what camp has given her!

Liat Friedman

Tribe Shimon                        (Unit 1)

Liat comes to Camp Twelve Trails with over eleven years of youth work experience. She has worked as a Head Counselor, Teaching Assistant, and a Youth Adviser. She is so excited to use her camp experience and Jewish youth group background to bring new ideas and ruach (spirit) to Camp this summer. She is most looking forward to watching the campers and counselors grow and mature as individuals and as a collective group. She is also excited to help campers learn about Judaism. In her spare time, Liat can be seen behind a computer working on graphic design, doing arts and crafts, or playing sports. Liat is pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at The City College of New York.

She’s looking forward to this upcoming summer and helping children complete and conquer their goals!
